I arrived at the surgery today at 8.30 ready for the opening as it's impossible to get an appointment by telephone usually . I was pleasantly surprised that although there were 7 people in front of me I managed to get an appointment with a Doctor , I didn't mind who for 9.10 am . The Receptionists were pleasant ,and I wasn't grilled for once on whether it was an emergency as 'emergencies only today' . Whilst sitting in the surgery I didn't hear the Receptionist say to anyone that all appointments had gone by 8.45 which is what I've heard quite regularly in the past . I witnessed 2 Doctors arrive before 8.45 and one of them started seeing patients immediately ,which meant I went in before my actual appointment time......I was very impressed with this as my last visit , a few weeks ago was on a half day closing and the 2 doctors that were working hence 'emergencies ' only didn't turn up for surgery until 9.30 . My experience today was pleasant the surgery was calm ,was this because it was Sunny Friday I don't know ....I wish it was always like this.

Reception staff are always polite and helpful. Its not always easy to get through on the phone but now an online booking service has been introduced it will hopefully ease this. I will be using this service. I have been with this practice for many years and found doctors and other staff friendly and helpful.

I have just used the online appointment facility for the first time, brilliant, took about 5 minutes to register and book an appointment for the following day, would recommend it to everyone, no more trying to get through on the phone and being told no appointments are available, online is definitely the way forward!.

I have been with this surgery for about 30 years. Over the last eight years I visit the surgery three times a week to see the practice nurse for ongoing treatment. I have received nothing but first class treatment from all the Doctors and nurses in that time, particularly nurse Pauline whom I see mostly. If at times I need extra care/treatment, it is always offered in a timely fashion. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful to me.
